Origin myth
The Night the Sky Opened
Seven years ago, a silent star crossed the sky and fell beyond the city walls. It left no crater—only a field of floating glass fragments that glow when someone tells the truth.
People built an archive around the fragments. Some came to study them. Others came to hide what they knew.
Vesper City
A vertical city of bridges, night markets, and observatories. Its oldest streets are lit by bottled starlight.
Star glass
Rare fragments that react to strong memories. Their origins and true purpose remain uncertain.
The Archive
An independent institution that records unusual events—although some files have been deliberately erased.
